Palma has been a resident on Stanhope
since October 1968. She was Mayor of Ashford from 1995 to 1996 and Stanhope Counsellor from 1985 – 2003. She was Chairperson
of Stanhope Parish Council and also Chairperson of Ashford Sea Cadets. Palma is currently a member of the Executive Committee
for Age Concern for Ashford.

I have been
a member of Wye Parish Council for 3 years and more recently Wye Futures Group which was successful in its action to stop
large scale housing development in Wye,Brook,Hinxhill and adjoining areas. I am dedicated to addressing the issues
of rural crime,the environment and transportation within Wye and surrounding areas. I enjoy many leisure pursuits
such as tennis,swimming,and local walks with the local Footpaths Group.

Keith was the Independent Borough Councillor for Bethersden from 1999 to 2003 ,has been a Parish Councillor for 28 years,
and a school governor for 6 years. He has lived and worked in Bethersden for over 30 years and is a chartered architect. He
believes that rural communities need strong representation on Ashford Borough Council to benefit and not suffer from its expansion
plans. Local needs housing must be provided as well as local job opportunities if our villages are to remain as active and
pleasant places in which to live.

in the community to fundraise for a number of organizations needing help. This has given me a wide experience of how Ashford
